Working with an agent, and what we are not

What happens when you contact an agent through the platform, what they see, and where to get the authoritative word on representation in Ontario.

ClickHomes is a platform, not a brokerage. We do not represent you, we cannot give you advice about a transaction, and nobody here can act on your behalf. What we do is give you tools and connect you to a licensed agent when you want one.

What an agent sees when you get in touch

  • Your name, email and phone, and the city and property type you said you were interested in.
  • Which tool or page you came from, and the scenario you had on screen — the price, the rate, the rent — with each figure marked as yours or as our assumption.
  • Anything you typed in the message box.

The scenario is included deliberately. Without it, the first conversation is an agent asking you to repeat numbers you had already entered. With it, they can open with something useful.
